Video: CAHA State Tier I U16 Final

LA Selects 7, LA Jr. Kings 1

SAN JOSE - The LA Selects jumped to a 3-0 first-period lead and never looked back in a 7-1 triumph over the LA Jr. Kings in the CAHA State Tier I 16U championship game at Sharks Ice on Sunday, Feb. 22.

Chad Goldberg scored the Selects' first two goals and added three assists, and teammate Stephen White added a goal and two assists. Adam Reid, Jake Corwin, Fabio Cuetara and Frasier Haber also scored for the Selects. Brendan Jensen made 22 saves.
Jaren Taenaka scored the Jr. Kings' goal.
Both teams qualified for the Pacific District Regional tournament in Las Vegas, Nev., on March 12-15.
