The founder of Good Sport Media, Inc., Brian McDonough, a Parsippany, N.J., native, serves as president of the Minneapolis-based company which specializes in sports publishing and media relations, graphic design and Web site consulting.

McDonough's roots run deep in the sports media and publishing industry. The co-founder of the nationally-circulated USA Junior Hockey Magazine, McDonough, who also serves as the director of communications for the North American Hockey League, has also worked for the ECHL, Minnesota Junior Hockey League and United States Hockey League in various capacities.

He is also the publisher of Arizona Rubber Magazine, the authoritative voice of ice and inline hockey in the Valley.

McDonough, 34, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Boston College and resides in Minneapolis.

Jeff Loftsgaarden, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, played his youth hockey in Waterloo, Iowa, and for Waterloo High School, where he graduated in 2002.

Loftsgaarden played one year of junior hockey in the Midwest before transitioning to SUNY-Brockport (SUNYAC), where he played during the 2003-04 season.

A Los Angeles resident, Loftsgaarden also works as an analyst in the corporate office of the El Segundo-based DaVita, Inc., which owns and operates kidney dialysis clinics across the United States.

Loftsgaarden, who also assists at Northern Edge Elite Hockey School in the summer months, graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics & International Studies.

Jayson Hron, from Grand Rapids, Minn., brings extensive writing and design experience to Good Sport Media. His work has been featured by ESPN.com, The Arizona Republic and InsideCollegeHockey.com, among many others.

Hron's conversational writing style and clean, powerful design has drawn considerable praise since his debut on the sports media scene. He has been honored by the Minnesota Newspaper Association and, most recently, by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), which recognized him with a pair of national publication design awards in 2005.

Hron, 29, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Minnesota Duluth and resides in Minnesota.
